P45 Palletizer: latest generation for very high-speed
TO MEET THE NEEDS OF VERY HIGH-SPEED PACKAGING LINES, CERMEX HAS DEVELOPED THE P45 PALLETIZER, WHICH IS A SIMPLE AND ERGONOMIC PIECE OF EQUIPMENT OFFERING HIGH YIELD AND VERSATILITY.
Output rates up to100,000 bottles/hour
The new P45 Palletizer is based on the industry-tested P4 layer palletizer design from Cermex. The equipment is perfectly suited to the demands of high-speed liquid packaging lines. The system handles two layers and two pallets simultaneously in continuous and smooth operation at speeds of up to 550 layers/hour, for an output rate of 70,000 bottles/hour for 6-packs of 1.5 L bottles and up to 100,000 bottles/hour for smaller capacities.
Versatile palletizer
The P45 Layer Palletizer can be used for packs, cases, shrink-wrapped trays, and plastic cases. It adapts easily to product changeovers. It is designed for bottle capacities ranging from 0.5 to 3 L, and format changeovers have been streamlined. A programmable controller runs the palletizer, and the display unit offers numerous operational functions. A specific pallet pattern corresponds to each package format.
Ergonomic palletizer
Unlike other layer palletizers with a raised product infeed, products on the P45 Palletizer arrive at ground level. The working level is set at 1,000 mm, with no stairs or catwalks required. The fully accessible palletizer system makes working conditions safer for operators. When the palletizer is installed in the packaging zone, a single operator can run all end-of-line operations. This design also makes it easier to assemble the palletizer on-site and simplifies maintenance operations. The P45 Palletizer’s footprint has also been streamlined: it is obviously more compact than using a side-by-side format with two traditional P4 layer palletizers. In addition to layer palletizers, Cermex offers a broad array of robotic palletizer solutions adapted to a wide range of multi-infeed and multi-palletization situations.
